What is the national territory of the Philippines?
The national territory comprises the Philippine archipelago, with all the islands and waters embraced therein, and all other territories over which the Philippines has sovereignty or jurisdiction, consisting of its terrestrial, fluvial and aerial domains, including its territorial sea, the seabed, the subsoil, the insular shelves, and other submarine areas. The waters around, between, and connecting the islands of the archipelago, regardless of their breadth and dimensions, form part of the internal waters of the Philippines.
The Article 1 of the 1987 Constitution of the Philippines is an explanation of what composes the Philippine, its territorial jurisdiction -land and sub lands, aerial domains, sea and submarine area, waters surrounding the archipelago and the whole Philippines.

Ang pambansang teritoryo ay binubuo ng kapuluang Pilipinas, kasama ang lahat ng pulo at karagatan na nakapaloob doon, at lahat ng iba pang teritoryo na ari ng Pilipinas sa pamamagitan ng karapatang kinikilala sa kasaysayan o sa batas, kasama ang dagat teritoryal, ang kalawakang itaas, ang kailaliman ng lupa, ang ilalim ng dagat, ang mga kalapagang insular, at ang iba pang lugar submarina na nasa ganap na kapangyarihan o saklaw ng Pilipinas. Ang karagatang nakapaligid, nakapagitan, at nag-uugnay sa mga pulo ng kapuluan, maging ano man ang lawak at sukat, ay bumubuo ng panloob na karagatan ng Pilipinas.
